Unfortunately it has been necessary to close the swimming pool from Friday the 4th of October 2019. The two boilers which heat the water in this building (including the pool and our shower blocks) have failed, and are, in this case, beyond repair.
Every effort is being made by myself and the school to ensure that the pool is reopened as soon as possible, but we have been told it could be three to six weeks before the pool is operational again. Although we are trying to find a temporary solution that will allow us to reopen until the new boilers can be installed. We are waiting to hear from our utility providers on this.
As a gesture of good will refunds for this month will be made to all swim members, and partial refunds will be made to those on Gym & Swim memberships.
For those of you who have swimming lessons with us, refunds for any missed weeks will be made and we will be in touch as soon as the pool reopens.
Swimming members are of course welcome to use the gym during this period at no extra cost.
